The project which is in partnership with Malala Foundation, is aimed at providing solutions to the low education enrolment for the girl child, high rate of school dropouts, and finally to ensure state governments take appropriate actions to promote free and quality basic education for all, especially for the girl child This project focuses on girl child education in the following states- Adamawa, Kaduna, Kano and Bauchi states.
Multi-level advocacy and sensitization with all relevant stakeholders and community engagement with women and young girls, to ensure that older women can serve as role models for young and primary – are some of the strategies for the implementation of the project with will result in the improved educational level of girls in the North-East.
