Adaobi Egboka (Mrs.)


ADAOBI EGBOKA (Mrs.) is a legal practitioner and the Executive Programmes Director of LEDAP. She began her professional career with LEDAP in 2007 and was until July, 2009 a Legal Officer/Project Coordinator.  She is in charge of the day to day functioning of the organization. She is responsible for organizational focus and growth, oversees LEDAP’s advocacy strategy, delivers pro bono legal services to survivors of human rights abuses, and manages all legal and program staff.

Prior to her work with LEDAP, she provided research and administrative support to Hon. Justice Adefope-Okojie of the Lagos State Judiciary as a youth corps member. Adaobi is a published writer; a gender equality and disability expert and very vase in policy and governance issues.

She earned an LL.B. from the University of Lagos and a Barrister-at-law degree from the Nigerian Law School. She is the 2013/2014 PILnet International Fellow and served as an intern at Center for Reproductive Rights in New York.
