Based on the  judgment delivered at the Federal High Court by Justice J.T. Tsoho  in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/979/15 between: LEDAP V Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), The Minister of Education and the National Universities Commission (NUC), wherein the court ruled in favour of LEDAP and held that only the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) can conduct matriculation examinations and give admissions into tertiary institutions. The court also gave an order restraining all universities, polytechnics  and colleges of Education in Nigeria from further imposition or conduct of Post-Unified Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) or any other form of admission screening tests in Nigeria. The defendants have failed to comply with the Judgment, hence, LEDAP has filed contempt proceedings against them at the Federal High Court asking the court to find the defendants  guilty of contempt.
